For Parents

Dear Parents (and caregivers),

As a parent of three children, I have tried to make my pediatric practice the kind office where I would want to take my children.

You can usually get an appointment the same or next-day.  Patients see me, the MD, and I take parents’ calls and I call parents with lab test results myself.  Children should be treated by a doctor, not by armies of assistants and administrators.

I develop a relationship with the children I see.  I treat them as people, not as objects on whom we run tests, take measurements, and inject with medication.  This not only leads to happier children, but healthier ones as well.

I wouldn’t want my children to see a doctor whose knowledge is out of date.  I keep up with the latest research, and have been recognized as a successful researcher myself, with a subspeciality in pediatric obesity and nutrition.  I am flattered to be recognized as an expert in children’s health and asked to consult on prominent medical issues of the day.

It’s also the little things.  When you have a sick child, the last thing you want to be doing is driving around looking for parking or waiting forever at the doctor’s office.  I make sure we have lots of easy parking and little wait times.

Finally, since I have children of my own, I stress practical parenting advice over theories that sound nice but might not be realistic in the real world.

That’s how my practice works.  If you think that it would be a good fit for your family or if you would like to know more, please call me at 310-829-4403 or send me a message. Sincerely,

Dr. Daniel Ganjian
